Nestled in between the Pacific coastline and Andrean mountains is the region of Chile, one of South America's best kept secrets for value wine. Once overshadowed by the reputation of neighboring Argentina, Chile has been quietly shedding its past of bulk production and embracing a new generation of inspired winemakers. With its combination of dry mediterranean climate and natural irrigation from the melting snow in the Andes, hearty grapes like Carmenére, Cabernet and Cinsault produce sumtous wines of typicity. Join me for a trek from the edge of Pisco country to the southern valley of Bio Bio, as we get to know these dedicated winemakers who work to further the quality of Chilean wine today. This class will feature a 7 wines from the Coquimbo, Aconcagua, central and southern regions, served alongside a light selection of cheese and salumi. 


Featured wines will cover (not exclusively) the regions Maipo, Casablanca, Rapel, Curicó, Colchagua, Maule, and Bio Bio.


Imported Cheese, Salumi, Olives, House-made Jams, Bread, Crackers and other items prepared by a local chef and baker.
